Warranty

What is covered

VirCru warrants that it will rectify, free of charge, defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years on all our hardware products. This warranty begins on the date of delivery to the end user, and applies to all hardware products in the VirCru range correctly fitted using the Installation Guide. Any defect must be reported to VirCru within the warranty period in order to qualify. VirCru offers an extended warranty on the battery built into the VirCru Hub – if this battery fails on a VirCru Hub product delivered within the last ten years, we will repair or replace the battery free of charge.

What is not covered –

VirCru’s warranty only concerns defects as a result of manufacturing error. Therefore, it does not apply to issues outside of our control or matters of wear and tear. Examples of this include:

. Any issues attributable to accidental damage

. Damage or defects as a result of incorrect installation

. Cosmetic damage, such as scratches and dents

. Abuse or misuse, including but not solely limited to the failure to use this product for its normal purposes or in accordance with VirCru’s instructions for usage and maintenance

. Costs related to transport, removal or installation of a product.

This list is not definitive and similar adjustable or wear and tear items are also excluded from the terms of the warranty. Please report any potential defects to our customer support team as soon as they occur, as any damage that consequently arises from continued use of a faulty product may not be covered under warranty.

From time to time, the VirCru App requires software updates in order to work optimally in conjunction with other devices and networks. VirCru will freely provide all of these updates online, and it is the Consumer’s responsibility to apply these updates and to ensure that the VirCru App has the most up to date software installed on it. If an issue with the product can be resolved by installing a publicly available free software update, VirCru will not view such an issue as a defect covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
